Michael Kosoy is a research biologist and a transdisciplinary scientist.

During 25 years (1994-2019), he worked at the National Center for Emerging and Zoonotic Infectious Diseases of the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

He was the Principle Investigator for numerous research projects in America, Asia, Africa, and Europe. His international activities include, but not limited to P.R. China, Thailand, Vietnam, Japan, Nepal, Kazakhstan, Georgia, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Russia, Kosovo, Israel, Kenya, D.R. Congo, Canada, Peru, and Guatemala.

His main research interests include ecology of diseases, evolution of pathogens, theoretical biology, biosemiotics, science of complexity, and application of Kabbalistic principles in science.
